Practice Manager โ€“ Optometric Management Group/ Oakley Square Eye Associates

OMG Vision is seeking an experienced, driven, and people-focused Practice Manager to support our growing optometry practices. This position is ideal for a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, enjoys improving operations, and is passionate about delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the practice, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent patient service

  • Lead, coach, and support front desk, technicians, and optical staff

  • Monitor scheduling, staffing, and patient flow to maximize efficiency

  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management

  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, HIPAA, and clinical standards

  • Work closely with providers and leadership to implement practice initiatives

  • Track and improve KPIs including patient satisfaction, productivity, and operational performance

  • Assist with inventory, supplies, vendor coordination, and optical operations as needed

  • Serve as a point of contact for staff concerns, patient escalations, and operational problem-solving

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of management experience in a medical practice (ophthalmology/optometry preferred but not required)

  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills

  • Proven ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable with performance coaching and team development

  • Experience with EMR systems and scheduling software preferred

  • Knowledge of optical and/or clinical workflows is a plus

  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to work across multiple locations
