Maintenance Supervisor (Long Term Care)
We Own It!. Medicalodges is a 100% employee-owned organization with over 30 skilled nursing and assisted living facilities committed to providing the highest quality of care to our residents. If you have a passion for providing seniors with outstanding care we want to talk with you today!
Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform general and preventive maintenance and repair functions of building and equipment.
  • Perform minor carpentry, plumbing, and electrical upkeep and emergency repairs and assist contractors to perform major repairs.
  • Perform regular floor maintenance per Medicalodges standards and policies.
  • Conduct inspections of all buildings on a regular basis for necessary upkeep and document findings.
  • Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance such as fire alarm test, zone lines, sprinkler system, and safety surveys, etc., and submit necessary forms to the Service Center on a timely basis.
  • Plans maintenance schedule based on current and projected needs per facility policy.
  • Maintain records or documentation per policies.
  • Access, input, and complete compliance and educational programs on the computer.
  • Supervise and assist maintenance staff in completion of tasks assigned. (if applicable)
  • Respond to emergency calls.

Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate
  • Two years experience in building maintenance
  • Mechanical skills
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to multi-task and problem solve
  • Ability to work positively with others in a team environment
