Position Overview

Weโ€™re seeking a Senior Video Editor with experience across multiple post-production & production tools. This role is ideal for a visual storyteller with strong technical expertise, sharp creative instincts, and a deep understanding of how editing shapes narrative, emotion, and brand impact. Youโ€™ll collaborate closely with directors, producers, and creative teams to craft compelling work across broadcast, digital, social, and branded content.

The ideal candidate would have advanced technical, creative, organizational, and leadership skills. They would have set experience including cinematography, lighting, and sound as well as advance editing skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the edit on high-profile commercial, branded, and social campaignsย ย ย ย ย 

  • Shape narrative structure, pacing, tone and emotional impact of spots

  • Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters, Producers and Post Supervisors

  • Provide multiple creative edit approaches for client review

  • Assist with the final delivery of all required assets to the client

  • Be available for shoots as needed and according to skillset

  • Stay current with evolving post-production tools, codes, ai-assisted workflows, and emerging media trends

  • Mentor junior editors and assistant editors on storytelling craft

  • Represent Boncom professionally to other departments within and outside the company

Experience and Qualifications

  • You must have a reel that demonstrates advanced skill set

  • 4+ years of experience as an editor

  • Extensive experience with Mac and Adobe Premier workflows

  • Experience with Adobe After Effects

  • Extensive experience prepping projects for color grading in Davinci Resolve

  • Able to organize footage and work quickly

  • Be committed to proper archiving

  • Offer high-level solutions for music, sound design, graphics and finishing style

  • Able to shape narrative structure, pacing, tone, and emotional impact to align with brand strategy and campaign objectives

  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Proven experience delivering content to digital and network specifications

  • Must be comfortable handling multiple projects and working in a fast-paced environment

  • Desire to collaborate as a team, and create a culture of excellence

  • Experience delivering content to Snapchat, Facebook and other social outlets
