Position Announcement
Join Utah Valley University as a Part-Time Video Editor and bring stories to life through creative, polished, and engaging video content. In this role, you'll collaborate with the Studios & Broadcast Services team and campus clients to produce a variety of projects, from single-camera videos to cinema and broadcast productions. You'll use your expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and other Adobe Creative Suite tools to shape compelling visual stories through thoughtful editing, pacing, music, sound, and effects. This is an opportunity to apply your creativity and technical skills to meaningful projects that support UVU and its campus community.
Summary of Responsibilities

Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications
Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate's degree or any combination of education and/or full-time experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling two years.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Knowledge
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of professional editing techniques.
  • Knowledge of framing and composition.
  • Knowledge of color correction software & techniques.
Skills
  • Skills in Premier Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • Skills in editing audio for video
Abilities
  • Ability to edit creatively.
  • Ability to create and edit a story from available assets.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
