Job Summary
The Student Video Editor will be responsible for producing and editing video content for the Online Development team at the David Eccles School of Business. You'll work closely with a collaborative team to convert in-classroom experiences into engaging online learning materials. This role offers opportunities to assist with various video-related tasks, from recording to post-production editing.
Responsibilities
  • Video Production: Serve as the primary point of contact for studio video recording, including setup, camera operation, live editing, and faculty interaction.
  • Video Editing: Edit faculty video lectures to meet the Online Development's quality standards.
  • Project Management: Manage editing assignments, report to supervisors, and ensure timely completion of video modules.
  • Additional Opportunities: As Online Development grows, assist with in-class recordings, marketing materials, and quality control.

Minimum Qualifications
Preferences
  • Proficiency in video editing software, especially Adobe Premiere.
  • Experience operating basic camera and audio equipment.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, and Audition is a plus.
  • Creative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in animation is a bonus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
