Job Title: Drone Logistics Specialist - Must hold valid part 107 license

Job Description

Join an innovative team at the forefront of delivery services with Prime Air, utilizing cutting-edge drone technology. We are seeking a Ground Handler who will play a crucial role in supporting our drone delivery operations, including ground support activities, basic operational tasks, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily drone operations by handling and organizing equipment, including batteries and related components.
  • Drive company vehicles throughout the test range to retrieve drones, parts, gather data, or move materials.
  • Monitor airspace in the area of operations and report any potential hazards or obstacles.
  • Assist with basic warehouse tasks, including inventory management and package preparation.
  • Execute standard operating procedures while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
  • Engage positively with community members and address basic inquiries about our operations.
  • Document and report operational activities using standard templates and tools.

Essential Skills

  • FAA Part 107 drone pilot license.
  • Must be eligible for FAA Safety-Sensitive hire.
  • Must have a clean driving record (MVR check).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with basic logistics/warehouse operations or aviation operations.
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
  • Prior experience in aviation, aerospace, or drone operations.
  • Knowledge of aviation terminology and regulations.

Work Environment

The role involves a mix of indoor and outdoor work in a warehouse environment and requires the ability to carry/lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. You must be able to work outside in various weather conditions and be flexible to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Travel may be required up to 25% of the time.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
