BASIC PURPOSE
Are you looking to have a positive impact on the lives of campers? Are you passionate about STEM? As a Drone Academy Summer Camp Assistant Facilitator, you will have the opportunity to engage campers in the exciting world of STEM technology. This role includes assisting in the facilitation of one moderate and one advanced session of Drone Academy, each lasting one week.
Note: This camp starts in August
***This position requires the PA Child Abuse, PA State Police and FBI Clearance prior to the start of the position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
KeyResponsibilities
  • Assist in the organization, planning, and facilitation of STEM-related activities centered around drones and aviation
  • Utilize hands-on experiential learning to engage campers in STEM
  • Be familiar and comfortable with drones and other STEM technologies and concepts
  • Assist in positively managing campers ages 10-15

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in STEM-related field
  • Experience flying drones
  • Knowledge of various STEM concepts
  • Knowledge of aviation
  • Experience working with children and teenagers in an educational setting
  • Availability from 9AM-2PM Monday-Friday from August 3rd-August 14th
