Sequist Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time veterinary assistant and customer service team member to join our team! A positive, team player attitude, with excellent communication skills, is a must. The ideal candidate will be comfortable properly handling and restraining animals, understands the importance of client education, feels comfortable working with other assistants, technicians and veterinarians, takes pride in a clean and organized animal hospital, and is a positive and supportive team player.A willingness to adapt adjusting to shared responsibilities of patient care and front desk duties. If you are in search of a work-life balance, a positive culture, and a great professional team who is passionate about veterinary medicine, we want to talk with you!
Job Requirements / Responsibilities
At least one year of experience working as a Veterinary Assistant preferred
Working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment
Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
Has experience with proper animal handling and restraint
Passion for working with animals and their owners
Works well as part of a team
Excellent communication and organizational skills
