Overview and Responsibilities

This position provides high-level administrative and operational support to the EVP, Creative Development for Paramount Television Studios. This role ensures the EVP's office runs effectively by managing complex schedules and coordinating communications between external and internal partners. The Executive Assistant serves as a key liaison between various internal and external stakeholders requiring remarkable organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate needs in a dynamic work environment, while also maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Schedules and manages EVP's calendar including the coordination of meetings with multiple participants (internal and external partners).
  • Screens and responds to incoming calls and correspondence. 
  • Support EVP in strategic priorities and monitor and prioritize incoming requests, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups. 
  • Anticipate executive needs and proactively address scheduling conflicts or operational bottlenecks. 
  • Arranges travel plans and itineraries and compiles documents and expenses for travel-related meetings. 
  • Arranges meetings or conferences by arranging conference rooms, issuing meeting requests or invitations and coordinating handouts. 
  • Directs preparation of records such as agenda, notices, minutes, and resolutions for corporate meetings. 
  • Composes and prepares confidential correspondence, processes expense reports. 
  • Coordinate and support all administrative duties in the office. 
  • Read incoming submissions and offer opinions.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.
Basic Qualifications 
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred. 
  • 1+ years of administrative experience supporting senior executives; entertainment industry experience strongly preferred. 
  • Proficient with software including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Docs. 
 
Additional Qualifications 
  • Excellent organizational skills and detailed oriented.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with staff, other administrators, internal and external customers and senior management.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding issues or information received.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $52,000.00 - 60,000.00. 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
