Description ****Only the first 150 applications will be accepted**** We're seeking a compassionate and dependable Cemetery Aide who recognizes the importance of honoring lives, supporting families and friends, and maintaining a peaceful place of remembrance. Under direction, to perform sales, organize services, and assist with cemetery operations. Examples of Duties Examples of duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: Serves as a liaison to funeral directors and the public in the arrangement of cemetery services, such as plot sales, burial arrangements and grave marker placement; Answers a variety of inquiries made by telephone or in person regarding cemetery services; Able to present cemetery products offered to client families, which include property, merchandise, and services; Collects payments, issues receipts and maintains all cemetery records; Locates gravesite boundaries, oversees the burial process, and coordinates the installation of markers; Verifies and processes sales invoices; Prepares cemetery deposits and all associated forms; Verifies markers for accuracy; Issues service requests for maintenance issues; Documents cemetery sites and markers; Enforces cemetery policies; and Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Two years of experience involving customer service, clerical support, sales, marketing, and/or business operations. Experience working in a cemetery setting is desirable. Education: Equivalent to a high school diploma.

Licenses and Certificates: Possession of a valid driver's license. Special Requirements: Essential functions and duties require the following physical abilities and work environment: Ability to work in a standard office environment; ability to travel to different sites and locations; Ability to sit, stand, walk over uneven ground, kneel, crouch, stoop, squat, twist, climb Ability to hear and speak to communicate over the phone and in person; The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
