Responsibilities

  • Buyer will Manage day-to-day Purchasing activities including issuing and tracking purchase orders, following up with suppliers, confirming delivery dates, and resolving pricing, delivery, or quality discrepancies to maintain uninterrupted production.

  • As a Purchasing Buyer, identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes, including distributing RFQs to suppliers, analyzing submitted bids, comparing pricing, and summarizing findings for senior buyers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management.
  • 1–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, buying, supplier follow-up, purchase orders, RFQs, materials management, or a related discipline.
  • (Candidates with 0 years full-time experience will be considered with internships and co-ops as assistant buyer or worked in purchasing, procurement, supplier, or purchase order activity).
  • Familiarity with or exposure to RFQ processes, vendor negotiations, cost analysis, supplier follow-up, purchase orders, or sourcing is preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools for purchasing data tracking, reporting, pricing comparison, and analysis.
