Description

Our Basalt location is looking for an Assistant Branch Manager! The position will assist the Branch Manager in overseeing the efficient operation of the facility and will act as the Branch Manager when the manager is out of the business, and will focus on excellent customer service and operational excellence at the branch. $1500, sign on bonus, paid at 30 and 90 days!


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Branch Manager in the areas of Operations, Customer Service, and reporting within a high-volume branch location.
  • Maintain personal contact with customers on the sales floor to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct weekly store evaluations with employees to determine any action necessary to maintain or elevate branch standards of cleanliness, productivity, organization, and customer service.
  • Research billing and order inquires for customers, placing and expediting orders, maintain supplies inventory.
  • Assist in developing creative plans to increase branch sales.
  • Assist customers with plumbing and HVAC projects and ensure each customer has a positive experience.
  • Manage the daily activity of the sales floor, warehouse, point of sale system.


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Assist with performing branch safety inspections.  
  • Assist with reporting.
  • Assist with any warehouse job functions.
  • Any additional assistance needed from the branch manager.



Requirements

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of leadership experience, preferably in a retail space.
  • Mechanically inclined; 1-2 years industry experience (plumbing, heating, HVAC and/or Hydronics) strongly preferred.  
  • Basic computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office suite, Outlook.
  • Experience with CSD (Cloud Suite Distribution) - ERP background is helpful.
  • Forklift certified or the ability to get certified.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and follow through skills.
