Are you organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with technology? We're seeking an Asset Management & Inventory Control Specialist to support a large healthcare organization's IT operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This role is perfect for candidates with warehouse, inventory, logistics, asset tracking, or technology experience who are looking to grow their career in IT operations. You'll play a critical role in managing thousands of technology assets, including laptops, monitors, tablets, and peripherals that support healthcare professionals across the organization.

What You'll DoAsset Receiving & Processing
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments of laptops, monitors, printers, and IT equipment
  • Break down pallets and verify product counts against purchase orders
  • Process incoming equipment using Oracle and inventory management systems
  • Identify discrepancies and help resolve inventory issues
Inventory & Asset Tracking
  • Apply asset tags to equipment
  • Record serial numbers and update asset records using Excel and internal systems
  • Track assets through their complete lifecycle
  • Perform inventory audits and maintain accurate inventory records
Warehouse Operations
  • Organize and stock equipment within warehouse shelving and racking systems
  • Move inventory using pallet jacks and warehouse equipment
  • Pick and prepare technology orders for shipment
  • Support inventory counts and warehouse organization initiatives
Shipping & Logistics
  • Pack and prepare equipment for delivery
  • Coordinate outbound shipments and internal deliveries
  • Maintain accurate shipping documentation
  • Ensure equipment is delivered accurately and on time
Asset Lifecycle Support
  • Track equipment from receipt through deployment and retirement
  • Update asset status in ServiceNow, Cherwell, and other tracking systems
  • Support IT asset disposition and recycling processes
  • Assist with equipment refurbishment and reuse efforts when needed

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, asset management, or logistics

Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office

Strong attention to detail and data-entry accuracy

Ability to work in a fast-paced, process-driven environment

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift

Strong organizational and communication skills

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with IT hardware such as laptops, monitors, docking stations, or peripherals
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Cherwell, CMDB, or similar inventory systems
  • Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems
  • Barcode scanning or asset tagging experience
  • Previous experience in IT support, desktop support, technical operations, or asset management
  • Forklift experience (training available)
