Job description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to oversee all aspects of the accounting function and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining strong internal controls, supporting financial planning activities, and providing leadership in financial management to support the organization's operational and financial success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Support the annual budgeting process, financial forecasting, and long-term financial planning initiatives.
  • Coordinate and oversee external audits, including preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and key metrics to provide actionable insights to management.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial systems and reporting.
  • Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Assist with special projects and financial analyses as needed.

Salary: Up to $95K DOE
