As our Controller, you'll play a key leadership role in helping drive the financial success of our rapidly growing manufacturing business. You'll oversee all accounting operations while partnering directly with our Owner, CFO and leadership team to provide meaningful financial insights, improve processes, and support strategic decision-making.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys improving systems, building scalable processes, and making a measurable impact within a growing organization.

What You'll Do
  • Lead all accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Inventory Accounting.
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end close process while continually identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements and management reports.
  • Develop, monitor, and analyze company budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
  • Manage cash flow planning and reporting.
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures.
  • Review and approve payroll, employee benefits, insurance invoices, rent payments, and other recurring expenditures.
  • Prepare weekly financial reporting packages for ownership and executive leadership.
  • Oversee contract renewals, including insurance, software, banking, and other vendor agreements.
  • Partner with external CPA firms during year-end reporting and tax preparation.
  • Supervise and mentor the Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, Inventory, and administrative accounting functions.
  • Assist with financial modeling, operational analysis, and special projects that support continued company growth.
What We're Looking For
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
  • CPA designation is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional Excel skills (required).
  • Experience with ERP/accounting software and advanced reporting tools.
  • Experience with Tableau or other business intelligence software is a plus.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to understand business operations beyond the numbers and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement.
