Job description

RK&K is looking for an Asset Management Analyst to support our Asset Management practice across the firm. The ideal candidate will possess a growth mindset, an aptitude for strategic analysis and problem solving, and a demonstrated commitment to supporting teams in the delivery of superior solutions.

Essential Functions

  • Support asset management related tasks, ensuring successful delivery, client satisfaction, and alignment with relevant regulations industry best practices (ISO 55000 series standards & guidance, IAM)
  • Support development and implementation of asset management strategies and frameworks for transportation infrastructure and/or civil infrastructure assets
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on best practices, tools, and technologies related to asset management
  • Remain current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes
  • Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to support asset management tasks and initiatives
  • Document and evaluate the current state of asset management programs
  • Support process improvement tasks, including discovery, documentation, analysis/evaluation, and design of business processes
  • Support application of best practices for developing key performance indicators, state of good repair criteria, standards and technical specifications, condition assessment programs, performing risk analyses, performing data analysis and technical studies, conduct life-cycle costs analyses
  • Support evaluation, procurement, configuration, and implementation of technology solutions to support asset management, including GIS, EAMS, predictive maintenance models, and condition assessment tools
  • Support development of state-of-good repair decision support tools
  • Develop reports and deliverables to communicate analysis and recommendations internally and to client stakeholders
  • Monitor project performance, budgets, and schedules for quality and contract compliance

Required Skills, Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Planning, Finance, Economics, or other field of study relevant to asset management.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in transportation infrastructure and/or civil infrastructure asset management related roles
  • Experience across various asset management services such as business process improvement and change management, lifecycle management, data analysis, and predictive maintenance models, computerized asset management systems, and condition assessment practices associated with transportation infrastructure and/or civil infrastructure assets.
  • Technical knowledge of asset management practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Knowledge of advanced asset management principles associated with the IAM and other industry standards
  • Knowledge of federal and state DOT regulations related to asset management
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, Professional Engineering (PE) license, or American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification preferred
  • Certification in Asset Management (e.g., IAM certification or similar) preferred
