The Asphalt Raker plays a critical role in the construction and maintenance of roads, parking lots, and other paved surfaces by ensuring the proper distribution and leveling of asphalt material. This position requires meticulous attention to detail to achieve a smooth, even surface that meets project specifications and safety standards. The Asphalt Raker works closely with paving machine operators and other crew members to coordinate the timing and placement of asphalt during the paving process. The role demands physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions while maintaining a high standard of workmanship. Ultimately, the Asphalt Raker contributes directly to the durability and quality of paved infrastructure, impacting community safety and transportation efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in asphalt paving or a related construction field.
