Job description

People Driven Technology, Inc is a fast-growing, modern technology integrator focused on delivering innovative IT solutions across the Midwest. We are a family-owned, local firm that focuses on simple, scalable business and technical outcomes for our clients. We leverage our decades of the combined business, technology, and engineering experience to deliver these outcomes, in a methodical manner. We’re not out to build and measure our business based on revenue but rather by the collective successes of our customers. We believe that mutual integrity, passion, and teamwork are the cornerstone values that define the relationships with our customers and strategic partners. When we engage we are all-in so to better those we serve.

We are looking for an Enterprise Architect - Collaboration to lead technical strategy, discovery, solution design, and sales support across our collaboration practice. This role serves as a senior technical advisor for customers evaluating, adopting, and optimizing collaboration solutions across unified communications, enterprise voice, meetings, messaging, contact center adjacencies, and related workplace collaboration platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong architectural depth, customer-facing credibility, and the ability to translate business and operational requirements into clear, defensible solution outcomes. This individual should also have proven experience designing and positioning solutions across key collaboration technologies and strategic partner platforms, including Cisco, Zoom, and RingCentral, with a strong understanding of how those technologies fit into broader customer experience, infrastructure, security, and modernization strategies.

What You Would Do
  • Lead customer discovery sessions to assess current-state environments, document business and technical requirements, and define future-state collaboration architectures.
  • Design and position collaboration solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments, with emphasis on unified communications, calling, meetings, messaging, contact center integrations, and adjacent collaboration workloads.
  • Architect, position, and differentiate solutions built around strategic collaboration technologies including Cisco, Zoom, and RingCentral, aligning platform capabilities to customer business goals, technical requirements, and operational priorities.
  • Serve as the primary technical resource in support of account executives, trusted advisors, and solution services teams throughout the sales cycle.
  • Develop high-quality solution documentation including architecture narratives, bills of material, technical recommendations, scopes of work, statements of work, and executive-level solution summaries.
  • Advise customers on platform selection, migration strategy, licensing considerations, and architectural tradeoffs across leading collaboration ecosystems, particularly Cisco, Zoom, and RingCentral.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, project management, services delivery, and partner teams to ensure proposed solutions are deployable, supportable, and aligned to delivery standards.
What We Are Looking For
  • At least 5 years of experience working for a networking OEM leader or VAR in a pre-sales engineering capacity and extensive experience in working directly with the end customers.
  • Strong experience with one or more strategic collaboration platforms such as Cisco Collaboration, Cisco Webex, Zoom Workplace, Zoom Phone, Zoom Rooms, RingCentral MVP, and related cloud communication technologies.
  • Proven experience architecting and supporting enterprise collaboration solutions in a customer-facing pre-sales, consulting, or senior engineering role.
  • Deep knowledge of unified communications and collaboration platforms, including enterprise calling, meetings, messaging, device ecosystems, voicemail, attendant and receptionist workflows, and mobility and user experience considerations.
  • Strong understanding of collaboration migration strategies, hybrid architecture patterns, numbering plans, dial plans, call routing, survivability, carrier connectivity, and operational readiness.
  • Ability to evaluate and design around adjacent requirements such as contact center integration, compliance, security, identity, networking, reporting, and adoption and change management.
  • Experience with strategic collaboration platforms, carrier services, enterprise networking dependencies, and modern workplace transformation initiatives is preferred.
  • Experience supporting enterprise collaboration assessments, migrations, and modernization efforts involving Cisco, Zoom, and RingCentral environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with adjacent technologies and dependencies such as SIP trunking, session border controllers, contact center platforms, identity providers, compliance solutions, and device lifecycle considerations is preferred.
  • Relevant partner certifications, specializations, or demonstrated technical proficiency related to Cisco, Zoom, RingCentral, or associated collaboration ecosystems are strongly preferred.
