Calyan Wax Co. is a mission-driven candle company committed to becoming the top 100% soy candle brand in the United States. We are looking for energetic folks that want to help us build something great at Calyan. The ideal candidate is self-motived, focused, an optimist, has a sense of urgency in their work, enjoys executing processes and checklists consistently, and is hungry to learn new things and contribute to the team's success.
Duties:
  • Learn all components of labeling machinery.
  • Operate labeling machines.
  • Assist Production Assistants in operating machines as needed.
  • Maintain machinery - keeping machines clean and operating at peak performance.
  • Duties of Production Assistant.
  • Movement to Senior Machine Operator upon completion of exam.

Ideal Experience and capabilities:
  • Manufacturing or production-type work.
  • Standing for 2+ hours at a time.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Hours:
  • Full time - 40 hours per week
  • 6 AM - 2:30 PM
  • Monday-Friday

Starting Pay:
  • $15/hr during 60 day probation period, then raise to $16/hr.
