Job description

Work Eligibility:  Must be a U.S. Citizen or a permanent lawful resident of the U.S.

Summary:

The Programmer Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting software applications, databases, reports, and system integrations that support manufacturing operations, EDI systems, and other business processes. This position works closely with operations, engineering, production, supply chain, quality, accounting, and IT teams to develop solutions that improve efficiency, automate processes, and enhance the company's technology capabilities.

Preferred Educational Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in computer-related field or equivalent experience and 5+ years of practical experience.

Preferred Work Experience:

Must be able to:

·         Conceptualize computer systems in entirety as well as in pieces

·         Experience with Database programming and management

·         Experience with ERP systems preferably IFS

·         Experience with EDI systems – Both troubleshooting problems and onboarding new trading partners

·         Knowledge of XML, JSON, REST API’s, and middleware technologies

·         Experience in a manufacturing environment

 

Essential Functions:

·         Provide assistance to end-users of the information systems.

·         Install and maintain various Bar Code Label application packages.

·         Database programming in Oracle PL/SQL and MS/SQL.

·         Application programming using Visual Studio, Java Script, and other web tools.

·         Troubleshooting Excel spreadsheets.

·         Report writing using Crystal Reports.

·         Administration OF EDI system

Non-Essential Functions:

Other duties as assigned.

 

Physical Requirements:

·         Data entry

·         80% of the time sitting

·         Some bending/stooping

·         Lifting less than 35lbs

·         Climate controlled environment
