OVERVIEW:
 
 iSeries/AS400 Programmer/Analyst
 
The Programmer/Analyst will be responsible for maintenance and modifications of the client’s legacy ERP system, as well as new development of mission critical applications.
 
The Programmer/Analyst must display the ability to learn new skills and be able to work effectively with all areas of the company.  Good communication skills and willingness to be a team player is a must.  Also, a strong work ethic and ability to multitask is a top requirement.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in programming and working with the IBM iSeries (AS/400).
  • Proficiency in RPG (all versions), SQL, CL/400, DDS, query.
  • Familiarity with FTP, SFTP and web services.
  • Working knowledge of networks and networking concepts.
  • Experience with PHP is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP and eCommerce concepts is a plus.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively work with a variety of different levels of the organization. Ability to express technical terms to non-technical audience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation and testing of programs.
  • Ability to perform effectively with a minimum of supervision.
