Job Description
This position plays a critical role in supporting the processing of first-year and transfer applications by ensuring applicant records are accurate, complete, and properly maintained across university systems.
Key Responsibilities
*Review, process, and update undergraduate applications to ensure accuracy and completeness in Banner, Slate, and related systems.
*Manage application updates, workflow modifications, and record corrections throughout the admissions cycle, ensuring timely and consistent processing.
*Review and verify transcripts, test scores, application fees, residency information, and other required materials; follow up with applicants, counselors, and external partners as needed.
*Track and process application changes, corrections, and supplemental documents, maintaining appropriate documentation and workflows.
*Collaborate closely with New Student Processing Team members to support accurate and efficient application processing.
*Update applicant statuses consistently across systems throughout the admissions cycle.
*Download, match, and process electronic transcripts, test scores, and documents received through multiple external platforms.
Reconcile application fees and assist with preparing communications related to application processing.
*Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely application review and accurate reporting.
*Maintain applicant files and support office-wide records management practices.
*Provide administrative support and customer service to applicants and campus partners throughout the admissions process.
*Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.
Required Qualifications
*Experience providing administrative or program support in an academic or professional setting.
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard data-entry functions.
*Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
*Ability to manage sensitive information and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
