Job Summary
Processes admission applications and documents to determine admissions status to support the mission of enrollment across campus. Maintains student and department records of assigned area through scanning, indexing and retrieval.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -
1. Reviews and processes admission's applications and documents in an electronic environment
2. Responsible for student and department records maintenance and document imaging
3. Makes decisions on applicants admit/student type, residency status, academic status, overall status and admission's status with every application and document received
4. Using application and other information, determines college transcripts that are required
5. Uses transcripts received to determine accreditation of institution and applicant's admission's overall GPA
6. Processes and maintains informational lists
7. Processes required curricula requirements
8. Serves as a resource for internal and external customers
9. Assists with the generation of applicant communications
10. Provides training to new hires as directed by leadership
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience
One (1) year of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with CRM admission systems
Familiarity with Kennesaw State University's student information system and imaging system
Familiarity with University System of Georgia and Kennesaw State University guidelines
Preferred Educational Qualifications
An undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
