Job description

SKIMS is a solutions-oriented brand creating the next generation of underwear, loungewear, shapewear, and essentials. We are setting new standards by delivering technically innovative, comfort-driven products with elevated design for everybody.
At the intersection of culture, innovation, and commerce, SKIMS is a global brand redefining modern apparel. Our teams are built on creativity, collaboration, and operational excellence, and we are committed to fostering an inclusive, high-performance environment where ambitious, curious, and values-driven individuals can do the best work of their careers.
As we continue to scale globally, our HQ teams play a critical role in shaping strategy, building world-class infrastructure, and driving sustainable growth across markets.
SKIMS is seeking a highly analytical and driven Planner to support the successful execution of sales and inventory strategies across our e-commerce business. This role is critical in driving financial performance through strategic merchandise planning, detailed analysis, and proactive inventory management.

The Planner will own style-level buy planning and in-season inventory management within their categories, leveraging historical data, current trends, and forward-looking forecasts to maximize sales, optimize inventory, and improve margin.
  • Analyze sales, inventory, and e-commerce performance on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to drive the business forward.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate clear and concise reporting recaps for assigned categories, including ad hoc analysis for cross-functional partners.
  • Own inventory laddering and SKU-level projections for core styles, ensuring optimal stock levels and supporting a "never out of stock" strategy.
  • Execute monthly buys for core products and recommend quarterly updates to core assortments to maintain and improve productivity.
  • Build pre-season buy plans for seasonal and non-core categories, partnering closely with Merchandising to align on strategy and present recommendations to leadership.
  • Collaborate with wholesale and cross-functional planning partners to optimize inventory turns, maximize revenue, and improve margins.
  • Monitor purchase order flow and production updates, proactively recommending adjustments to delivery timing or transportation methods to protect OTB and IMU.
  • Conduct size-level analysis and recommend size curves to support accurate buying and allocation strategies.
  • Identify risks and opportunities within the business and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the evolution of planning best practices, tools, and processes, while fostering a collaborative and solutions-oriented team environment.

  • 3+ years of experience in merchandise planning, inventory management, or a related analytical role within apparel, retail, or e-commerce.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, logical formulas; basic macros a plus).
  • Strong understanding of inventory planning concepts, including replenishment and ladder planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and communicate insights effectively.
  • Experience with planning and business intelligence tools such as Toolio, Looker, NetSuite, Google Analytics, or Shopify is a plus.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and adapting quickly to changing business needs.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm for the SKIMS brand and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
What Makes You a Great Fit
You are highly analytical, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You bring a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, using data to tell a story and influence decisions. You are proactive, collaborative, and excited to contribute to building best-in-class planning processes at a globally expanding brand.
