About Made by Gather

Made by Gather cultivates human connection through trend-forward design, innovative marketing, and collaborative strategic relationships with leading omni-channel retailers. We are the company behind Americaโ€™s fastest-growing kitchenware brands, including Beautiful by Drew Barrymore, and bella. We make super-premium design and innovation accessible to the world while delivering exceptional value to our retail partners and consumers.

Role Overview

As a Demand Planner at Made by Gather, you will play a critical role in driving forecast accuracy and inventory planning across our growing portfolio of consumer products. You will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Planning, Finance, and Analytics to translate data and market insights into actionable demand forecasts. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capability, advanced Excel skills, and hands-on experience planning demand in consumer products, particularly for mass merchants such as Walmart, Costco, Target, and other national retailers.

  • Use advanced Excel tools and models (pivot tables, scenario modeling, complex formulas, automation) to support forecasting and planning decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to incorporate account strategies, promotions, and new product introductions into demand plans.
  • Lead forecast review and consensus discussions as part of the SIOP / IBP process.
  • Collaborate with Supply Planning and Finance to align forecasts with inventory targets and financial plans.

Mass Merchant & Retail Integration

  • Apply deep understanding of mass merchant demand patterns and replenishment requirements to improve forecast accuracy and service levels.
  • Support retailer-specific forecasting needs and cadence for accounts such as Walmart, Target, Costco, and similar partners.

Performance Monitoring & Insights

  • Track forecast accuracy, bias, and key planning KPIs; prepare clear, actionable reporting for leadership.
  • Analyze forecast variances, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to improve future performance.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve demand planning processes, data quality, and planning tools.
  • Support planning for new product launches, seasonal demand shifts, and changes in consumer buying behavior.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics experience within consumer products / CPG.
  • Proven experience forecasting for mass merchants such as Walmart, Target, Costco, or similar national retailers.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including complex modeling, large-data analysis, and scenario planning. Proficient in Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
