Job description

SUMMARY OF POSITION: 

Responsible for the efficient operation of the Anodize line. Ensures quality material is produced in accordance with established standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Racks parts in preparation for treatment based on pre-determined schedule.
  • Unloads and inspects parts to ensure they meet company and customer standards.
  • Ability to run the line in manual or automatic mode.
  • Monitors line to ensure proper operation. May need to stop and restart line as needed.
  • Troubleshoots any problems throughout the production process and chooses best course of action. Consults with lead and/or supervisor as necessary.
  • Packages material according to customer specification with no damage to material.
  • Shows ability to verify anodize process perimeters (recipes)
  • Perform temperature checks
  • Notifies supervisor of any mechanical problems.
  • Performs all duties in accordance with company safety and standards.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
  • Properly wears required Personal Protective Equipment.

OCCASSIONAL DUTIES:

  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION: 

  • High School graduate or equivalent.

SKILLS:    

  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Special attention to detail is required.
