About the Role:

The Director, Ticket Sales is responsible for leading the overall ticket sales strategy across both B2B (Corporate) and B2C (Consumer) sales channels, focusing on Season Seats and Partial Plans. This role oversees two sales leaders and teams, driving revenue growth through structured sales processes, data-driven decision making and market expansion.

The Director plays a key role in aligning organizational strategy with execution, ensuring that all ticket sales initiatives contribute to long-term revenue growth and market penetration.

Your Focus in this Role:

  • Oversee all ticket sales functions spanning the B2B (Corporate) and B2C (Consumer) sales teams
  • Lead and develop sales managers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Build and execute overall ticket sales strategy for the B2B and B2C sales teams
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, pipeline health, and conversion metrics
  • Drive accountability across teams through consistent reporting and performance management
  • Partner with Marketing, Partnerships, and Business Intelligence teams to optimize lead generation and sales conversion
  • Identify new revenue opportunities across markets, products, technology and customer segments
  • Support key strategic accounts and high-value sales opportunities
  • Ensure CRM systems, reporting tools, and sales processes are optimized and consistently used
  • Develop and maintain a high-performance culture across all sales teams
  • Attend Oilers and Oil Kings games to assist with in-game activations, customer visits and manager-on-duty responsibilities

  • Strong leadership presence, communication skills and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to manage both in-office and field-based employees
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data
  • High level of accountability and ownership
