Medical Laboratory Technician / Medical Laboratory Scientist

Location: Bodaway/Gap, Arizona

Pay Rate: $ 2,200 To $ 2,400/Week

Contract: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Day Shift | 40 Hours/Week (10hrs , 8hrs shifts)

Experience: Minimum 1 Year of Clinical Laboratory Experience Preferred

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for a 13-week travel contract in Bodaway/Gap, Arizona. This opportunity supports a hospital laboratory performing diagnostic testing across multiple laboratory disciplines. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience working in a clinical laboratory, and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality patient testing.

Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory testing in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, blood bank, urinalysis, coagulation, and clinical microscopy.

  • Process, analyze, verify, and report patient specimens while maintaining quality and accuracy.

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation following established procedures.

  • Maintain accurate documentation using Allscripts while following laboratory quality standards and regulatory guidelines.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to support timely patient diagnosis and treatment.

Requirements
  • Active MLT or MLS Certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) required or eligibility consistent with facility requirements.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (MLS) or qualifying education for MLT role.

  • Clinical laboratory experience in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood bank preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of laboratory quality control, specimen handling, and regulatory compliance.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
