Job Summary

The Tasting Room Host is the face of Amadoras Del Vino and plays a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience. This position is responsible for guiding guests through wine tastings with warmth, knowledge, and professionalism while fostering meaningful connections that encourage return visits, wine club membership, and brand loyalty.

This is a part-time, on-site position ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic hospitality environment and enjoys working as part of a high-performance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide warm, engaging, and knowledgeable wine tasting experiences for guests of varying wine familiarity
  • Share the story of Amadoras Del Vino, our wines, and our region in a compelling and inclusive manner
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in a high-volume tasting room environment
  • Accurately pour, describe, and sell wines while maintaining responsible service standards
  • Actively contribute to wine club sign-ups, bottle sales, and special promotions
  • Handle guest questions, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and problem-solving skills
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the tasting room and service areas
  • Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
  • Collaborate effectively with teammates to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Comply with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in wine, hospitality, or customer-facing service roles
  • Strong oral communication and storytelling skills
  • Passion for wine, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
