Our Tasting Room Sales Associates form the backbone of the customer experience at Three Brothers Wineries & Estates and War Horse Brewing Co. Our company mission is to make each of our guests special day, more special by providing exceptional customer service and a unique experience, and we have while fun doing it! Tasting Room Associates are responsible for greeting guests and explaining what our estate has to offer, guiding guests through tastings of various wines, beers and ciders, answering questions about products, and engaging in conversation to make them feel welcome. With our expansive selection of hand-crafted wine, microbrews, hard cider, and sodas there's bound to be something for everyone who visits.


A successful Tasting Room Associate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-past environment. They must also be knowledgeable about the winery's products and able to educate guests about the products being tasted (with paid training). A team player with a positive attitude and personable demeanor is essential. Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred. This is a part-time opportunity, with more hours available during the summer and fall season. Ability to work most weekends is a must.


Responsibilities:

  •  Welcome visitors, serve samples, answer questions, and offer suggestions.
  •  Provide information to customers about the company's history, vineyard, winemaking and beermaking techniques and products.
  •  Sell products to customers with confidence (training provided).
  •  General store maintenance, including stocking shelves.
  •  Dusting and light cleaning of retail store displays and all public areas within the store.
  •  Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the tasting room.
  •  Quickly and accurately work the cash register.
  •  Complete duties from opening and closing checklists.
  •  Communicating effectively with team members and management.
  •  Take initiative to work independently, as well as, the ability to work well within a team environment.
  •  Upholding responsible alcohol service practices and ensuring guests are of legal drinking age.

Requirements

  • Must be available to work most weekends.
  •  Must have a friendly personality and converse with a wide array of customers.
  •  Must be able to make change accurately.
  •  No history of alcohol abuse.
  •  21+ years of age at time of employment is preferred.
