Job description

To provide routine care in a manner conducive to the comfort and safety of residents in accordance with federal, state and local regulations, and within the established policies of the Community; and

are delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties by the Resident Services

Director, Executive Director or other assigned supervisory personnel to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times. This role includes providing hands-on

care, physical and emotional support as outlined in each residentโ€™s Personalized Service Plan (PSP) while maintaining a safe, comfortable home-like environment.

FLSA Status: Hourly; Non-Exempt

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • PCH, ALF, or SNF experience preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Completes all required education, annual training (16 hours per year), and competency checklists as scheduled.
  • Must wear name badge at all times.
  • Reporting
  • Reports shift updates ensuring reporting of all incidents to the aide supervisor
  • Reports all incidents and accidents according to At Home Senior Livingโ€™s policy and procedures as well as state regulations
  • Reports all unsafe and hazardous conditions/equipment immediately
