Position Overview:


Position Title: Agile Project/Team Lead

Location: Indianapolis, IN

(This person must be located within a commutable distance of Indianapolis, IN)


Responsibilities

  • Communicate with business stakeholders and decision-makers about team progress and potential risks and impediments
  • Ensure that team members are not blocked and able to deliver at a high level
  • Coordinate with Product Owners to ensure that the team is delivering value that serves the needs of the organization
  • Facilitate and coordinate Scrum and other project-related meetings
  • Understand and communicate the metrics that matter to your client and project
  • Facilitate prioritization discussion and ensure priorities are well understood
  • Advise clients on product and process-related decisions when necessary
  • Lead Agile project planning and execution.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Manage project schedules, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
  • Track project progress and ensure timely delivery of objectives.
  • Foster collaboration and continuous improvement across teams.


Skills and Experience Requirements


Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in the software industry
  • Experience managing Agile software development projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience communicating with business stakeholders about software requirements
  • Experience with risk management techniques
  • Experience managing issue and project tracking software
  • Experience communicating with stakeholders about scope and budgetary issues on software development projects
  • Comfort with collaborative tools such as JIRA
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • PMP, CSM, or related certification preferred.


Great to have:

  • Software development experience and knowledge
  • Ability to develop internal and customer facing documentation
  • Comfort with AI tools to assist in documentation and team coordination


Conditions

  • Hybrid with at least 2 days/wk on site Indianapolis
  • Expected working hours: 40 hours per week, excluding holidays, vacations, and illness
