Responsibilities
  • Greet customers promptly and courteously and listen carefully to their vehicle service needs.
  • Review and explain repair and maintenance options, providing accurate cost estimates and timelines.
  • Schedule service appointments and maintain effective communication with customers throughout the repair process.
  • Coordinate with service technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and completion of vehicle repairs.
  • Manage service orders, process payments, and maintain detailed records of customer interactions and service history.
  • Provide follow-up communication to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Stay informed about automotive products, services, and procedures to provide knowledgeable advice to customers.
Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
โ€ข Greet customers, listen to the description of the problem, obtain customer and vehicle information
โ€ข Secure agreement from customers before repairs; cover cost estimate; and approximate time when vehicle's work will be completed
โ€ข Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacture's specifications, using maintenance menus
โ€ข Handle minor customer complaints and misunderstandings
โ€ข Follow up progress of each repair order during the day, contact customers by telephone regarding changes in the estimate or time promised
โ€ข Handle telephone inquiries and return phone messages promptly
โ€ข Deliver vehicles to customers and answer any questions, review work performed and explain charges and coverage
