Who You Are

Client Relationship Consultant: 

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent plus 4+ years related experience (group benefits and/or account management experience preferred).
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain all required state licenses within 90 days. Active life/health license preferred.
  • Must have excellent persuasion, interpersonal, problem-solving, decision-making, time management, presentation, listening, and oral/written communication skills, as well as analytical skills.
  • Advanced math skills required with basic skills related to graphs, symbols, equations, etc.
  • Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of business unit applications preferred.
  • Maintain accuracy while being detail oriented.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
  • Travel required (approx. 25%), including overnight stays and time out in the market in face-to-face contact with customers and brokers.

Senior Client Relationship Consultant (above qualifications apply along with below additions):

  • 8+ years of related experience (group benefits and/or account management experience)

Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$62000 - $105000 / year
Salary Details

The following salary ranges reflect market-specific compensation for this position across multiple job levels. Candidates will be evaluated to determine the appropriate job level based on their skills and experience. 

  • Client Relationship Consultant: $62,000 - $84,000 / year
  • Senior Client Relationship Consultant: $77,000 - $105,000 / year

Time Off Program
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Work Arrangement

This role offers the ability for a hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek) work arrangements. Management reserves the right to adjust the days required in office.
