Regional Sales Manager
New Home Star | Dedicated Partnership with Simplicity by Hayden Homes
Location: Redmond, OR
Lead Divisional Sales Performance in a High-Impact Builder Partnership
New Home Star is seeking an accomplished Regional Sales Manager to lead sales performance within our dedicated partnership with Simplicity by Hayden Homes, a premier On-Your-Land builder known for craftsmanship, transparency, and customer-first values.
This role is employed by New Home Star and serves as the sales leader overseeing the Simplicity West division. This is an opportunity to lead and shape high-performing teams. Join us and be part of a team where growth, recognition, and impact are at the heart of everything we do.
The Impact You Will Make
Sales Leadership, Execution & Strategy
  • Own performance by driving revenue, profitability, and operational outcomes across your business. Lead and develop a regional sales team while representing Simplicity Homes and ensuring alignment to company's strategy throughout Oregon.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and hold the team accountable to key metrics, including sales goals, training engagement, and a strong team culture, ensuring consistent performance and execution.

Team Development & Sales Enablement
  • Coach and develop the sales team to elevate performance and build bench strength. Provide in-field coaching and structured development through both technology platforms and live interaction. Drive adoption and participation in sales enablement initiatives while developing future Sales Leaders through coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Construction, Marketing, and Operations to ensure alignment, accountability, and an exceptional buyer experience from initial contact through completion.

Market & Competitive Analysis
  • Monitor local market conditions, competitive trends, and buyer behavior to inform strategy. Analyze performance data in Salesforce to identify opportunities, strengthen pipelines, and improve conversion.
  • Translate insights into actionable plans that improve conversion rates, absorption, and overall market performance.

Business Planning & Executive Collaboration
  • Lead business planning, forecasting, and performance reviews. Monitor Monthly Flash and financial reporting to inform decision-making. Participate in leadership meetings and strategic planning sessions, contributing to broader company initiatives and direction.

Builder Partnership & Client Experience
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with builder partners through consistent communication, alignment, and performance delivery. Ensure execution meets builder expectations and drives high Perceived Client Value (PCV) and customer satisfaction.
  • Champion the Simplicity process, modeling consultative selling in an On-Your-Land environment where education, empathy, and clarity drive results.
  • Serve as the bridge between field insights and corporate strategy, advocating for your team and influencing continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For
Experience & Leadership Competencies
  • Experienced new home sales leader with at least five years in sales and two years in leadership.
  • Deep understanding of On-Your-Land construction, buyer financing, and regional permitting processes.
  • Proven ability to coach and elevate others in both virtual and in-person settings.
  • Skilled in CRM and presentation tools, including Salesforce and other digital sales technology.
  • Comfortable leading from the field, spending time in design centers, on-site visits, and in team meetings.
  • Collaborative, data-minded, and driven by developing people as much as delivering results.
  • Talent development capability
  • Data-driven decision making with operational rigor

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience is considered

Travel
  • Field-first leadership role supporting a remote team across Oregon
  • Regular time spent in-market, working alongside local teams
  • Ramp period: travel approximately 3 out of every 4 weeks (2-3 days per trip)
  • Post-ramp: travel stabilizes to approximately 50% with a consistent regional cadence
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current insurance
