Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience with Adobe AEM (6.x and AEM Cloud Service)
• Strong expertise in:
o Java, J2EE, OSGi, Sling, JCR
o HTL (Sightly), JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Hands-on experience with:
o AEM Cloud Service architecture
o Cloud Manager, Git-based CI/CD pipelines
o Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and Assets
• Experience with headless AEM and SPA editor (React / Angular preferred)
• Strong understanding of AEM security, permissions, and dispatcher/CDN concepts
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
• Adobe Certified Expert / Professional - AEM Cloud Service (Highly Preferred)
• Experience with:
o Adobe Experience Platform (AEP)
o Adobe Analytics, Target, or other Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions
• Hands-on experience with:
o Microservices and cloud-native development
o Performance optimization and Cloud observability tools
• Prior experience in leading AEM projects or acting as a technical lead
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement solutions using Adobe AEM as a Cloud Service
• Build and customize AEM components, templates, workflows, dialogs, and bundles
• Develop and maintain OSGi services, Sling Models, and servlets
• Implement and support Cloud Manager pipelines, CI/CD processes, and cloud deployments
• Ensure adherence to AEM Cloud best practices, including immutable deployments and content architecture
• Integrate AEM with third-party systems via RESTful APIs and Adobe services
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, business stakeholders, and DevOps teams
• Optimize performance, security, and scalability of AEM applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in cloud environments
• Mentor junior developers and review code for quality and standards compliance
