Now Hiring: Admissions Director

Responsibilities of Admissions Director:

  • Records Information concerning inquires, admissions and discharges and assists with daily census reports

  • Coordinates the inquiry process and facilitates the admission process including completing required paperwork

  • Appropriately notifies facility representatives of admission updates

  • Keep monthly record of census, matching up numbers with Business Office to ensure accuracy at the end of each month

  • Provide information on referral leads, admissions, and discharges on a weekly basis or as requested

  • Communicates effectively with the Social Security Department, Nursing and Business Office regarding bed availability

  • Evaluates referrals to determine admission candidacy, including visiting referrals at home or involved with community agency as appropriate

  • Maintain close contact with all referral sources.

  • Notify hospitals of bed availability on regular basis.

Qualifications Admissions Director:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Admissions experience in LTC/SNF preferred.

  • Positive and energetic individual with creativity

  • Ability to work independently or part of a group.

  • Computer knowledge.
