ADMIN. GENERALIST

Overview:
The Administrative Generalist at Friendship Community is a full-time position that supports the Maintenance Department by completing a variety of administrative and clerical duties. The Administrative Generalist will schedule routine maintenance repairs, support purchasing functions for the organization, log vehicle records and registration inspection records, and complete other administrative tasks relating to the needs of the Maintenance Department.

Requirements:
  • A high school education is required, additional related training preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, telephone, and writing.
  • Proficiency in MS office Suite, property management software and can learn new systems, software and technology.
  • Ability to be flexible, prioritize, and multi-task.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ability to maintain confidentiality, privacy, and respect
  • Strong ability to maintain composure and emotional response to stressful or unique situations.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a TM to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While performing the duties of this position, the Team Member (TM) is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The TM must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild to moderate. The TM may occasionally drive a company vehicle to go to a home for their required caseload or outside training opportunities.
