We are looking for a certified personal trainer to join our organization and implement training programs for our clients. The personal trainer is responsible for accurately assessing clients at the start of their journey, compiling reports, and developing their fitness levels. They should be able to assist clients in reaching their goals, and have a passion and drive for health, wellness, and fitness.

Fitness Instructor Responsibilities:

●        Support the development and delivery of fitness programs.

●        Assist members in reaching individual goals.

●        Assist in maintaining and improving the goals of the organization.

●        Ensure the safety of clients during training sessions.

●        Conduct an initial assessment of clients' body measurements using multiple modalities.

●        Monitor BMI and HR on a regular basis.

●        Motivate clients who have reached a plateau in weight loss.

●        Work closely with our dieticians and wellness coaches to develop multi discipline plans

 Personal Trainer Requirements:

Licensure:

Personal Training Certification from an accredited body within 30 days of hire. ACSM, ACE, NSCA is preferred.

CPR Certification within 30 days of hire

Current driver’s license is required to travel to assigned sites

Experience: Previous experience as a personal trainer is a plus

Education:   College Degree preferable in the field of Exercises Science or Kinesiology. 

Other:

Demonstrates working knowledge of the English language, verbal and written.

Demonstrates an extremely high level of interpersonal and communication skills, necessary to establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with all.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, including at least one year coordinating activities preferred or
  • 1-3 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with experience in a long-term care or behavioral health setting preferred
