Job description

) Peabody Retirement Community is seeking an Activity Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidates must be devoted and compassionate about their chosen career. Activity Assistant will have experience working with individuals with dementia, have a highly enthusiastic personality, and be able to develop creative activities for our residents.
Responsibilities of Activity Assistant:
  • Conducts and/or assists with assignments and assigned activity groups
  • One-to-one activities utilizing interpersonal needs to meet resident/client needs
  • Provides input and assistance with activity planning
  • Escort residents to and from activities
  • Projects a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, public

Qualifications of Activity Assistant:
  • Experience is preferred
  • High School Graduate or GED
