Skilled Nursing Facility, Oak Park, IL

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Activities Director to join our team at our Nursing Home Facility providing comprehensive medical services under one roof. As an integral member of our care team, you will play a vital role in creating tailored activities and programs that promote resident engagement, independence, and overall well-being.

About the Role:

As an Activities Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing engaging activity programs that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents

  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to identify and address individual resident needs and preferences

  • Creating a welcoming and inclusive environment that fosters socialization, recreation, and personal growth

  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of activity programs and making recommendations for improvement

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with community organizations and outside providers to enhance resident services

  • Other tasks as assigned by the administrator

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and lead activities that promote socialization, recreation, and personal growth
• Conduct needs assessments and develop activity plans tailored to individual resident requirements
