Palmetto Subacute Care Center is looking for a qualified Activity Aide to join our ever-growing team.
Activities Aide Job Description:
Assist the Activities Director in the development, organization, and implementation of comprehensive therapeutic recreation services and programs that meet the needs and interests of each resident.
You are delegated responsibility and accountability necessary for carrying out your daily assigned duties and must complete the required documentation.
You must have the ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job, and must be able to speak Spanish.
Must have computer knowledge.
Activities Aide QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
  • Preferrable have an active CNA/HHA certificate/license or ability to obtain within 3 months
  • Must have computer knowledge
  • Flexible with schedule, available some weekends, evenings, and holidays are required.
  • Energetic/Friendly personality
  • People Oriented - enjoys interacting with people/compassionate
  • Must be creative and able to have input in creating/participating in activities- EX: sing/dance/arts and crafts
