Acrobat information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Acrobat, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Acrobat, you need exceptional physical strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance, typically developed through years of specialized training or gymnastics experience. Familiarity with safety equipment, rigging systems, and potentially circus apparatus certifications are important for technical proficiency. Teamwork, discipline, and quick problem-solving are crucial soft skills for adapting to live performances and ensuring group safety. These abilities are vital for executing complex routines safely and captivating audiences in demanding performance environments.

Is it hard to get a job at Adobe?

Getting a job as an Acrobat professional or in related roles at Adobe can be competitive, often requiring relevant skills such as proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud tools, certifications, and experience. The hiring process typically involves multiple interviews and assessments to evaluate technical and soft skills.

What are some common challenges acrobats face when performing as part of a troupe or ensemble?

Acrobats working in a troupe often encounter challenges related to precise coordination and trust among team members. Synchronizing complex routines requires clear communication, consistent practice, and a strong sense of timing to ensure safety and seamless performances. Additionally, adapting to the unique strengths and movement styles of each teammate is crucial. These dynamics foster a collaborative work environment, where supporting and learning from others is essential to both personal and collective success.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

An Acrobat, or professional in the field of digital document management and PDF editing, typically does not earn $10,000 a month without specialized skills or experience. High earnings in related tech roles such as freelance graphic designers, software developers, or digital consultants can reach that level, often requiring self-taught skills, certifications, or extensive experience rather than formal degrees.

How can I get a job at Adobe?

Having experience with Adobe products, certifications, or related technical skills can improve your chances of being hired.

What are Acrobats?

Acrobats are performers who demonstrate feats of balance, agility, and coordination, often as part of circus acts, stage shows, or live entertainment. Their routines may include tumbling, flips, aerial stunts, balancing acts, and partner lifts. Acrobats train extensively to develop strength, flexibility, and precision, working both individually and as part of a team. They perform in various venues, including circuses, theaters, theme parks, and sometimes even on television. Safety is a key part of their profession, so acrobats use specialized equipment and follow rigorous training regimens to minimize risks.

Job description

The Opportunity

Adobe is seeking a Senior Manager for Acrobat & Express Data Science. This role will lead data analysis related to audiences and customers for two of Adobe's most exciting businesses: Acrobat and Adobe Express.

Acrobat is one of Adobe's largest and fastest-growing businesses, helping millions of customers around the world create, edit, share, sign, and manage documents across web and desktop experiences. Adobe Express is an exciting newer offering that brings the power of Adobe's creative tools to a broader audience, making it easier for anyone to build standout content quickly and confidently.

This role sits at the center of how we understand customer behavior, diagnose business performance, and guide growth strategy across these businesses. You will lead a team responsible for analyzing the full customer funnel-from monthly active users to paywall traffic, conversion, orders, and financial performance-across key surfaces such as web and desktop. The team goes deep into what customers do, which actions drive conversion, and how product, marketing, and GTM teams can sustain momentum and unlock new growth.

This is a high-impact people leadership role at the intersection of data science, product analytics, marketing analytics, and business performance management. You will lead a distributed team of data scientists and work closely with senior leaders across Product, GTM, Marketing, and Finance to build strategy, set funnel goals, identify risks and opportunities, and translate insights into clear business action.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing distributed team of data scientists across the US and Europe.
  • Own audience and customer analytics for Acrobat and Adobe Express, with a focus on understanding end-to-end customer behavior across the digital funnel.
  • Analyze full-funnel performance across key surfaces, including web and desktop, from MAU to paywall traffic, conversion, orders, and ARR impact.
  • Identify the customer behaviors, product actions, and engagement patterns that drive conversion, such as which Acrobat verbs and workflows lead users to purchase.
  • Lead weekly business performance reviews and provide a clear narrative on what is driving performance, where the business is on track or off track, and what actions teams should take next.
  • Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Finance, and GTM leaders to connect product usage, traffic, conversion, and financial performance into one coordinated view of business health.
  • Help set funnel goals, targets, and leading indicators for growth, and guide cross-functional teams on how to sustain momentum across Acrobat and Express.
  • Apply advanced analytics and data science methods, including segmentation, forecasting, experimentation, funnel diagnostics, and predictive modeling, to improve decision-making.
  • Set the standard on analytical rigor, business storytelling, and executive communication, including regular engagement with VP-level Product and GTM leaders.
  • Translate complex data and customer behavior into simple, actionable recommendations that influence product roadmap, marketing strategy, and business planning.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • 10+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related quantitative field, with strong business facing experience
  • 4+ years of people management experience, including leading and developing high performing teams of analysts or data scientists
  • Experience leading global or distributed teams, with the ability to develop clarity, alignment, and accountability across time zones.
  • Strong understanding of digital funnels, subscription businesses, product-led growth, customer engagement, conversion, and ARR-based business models.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect customer behavior, product usage, funnel performance, and financial outcomes into a clear business narrative.
  • Experience running business performance cadences, including weekly executive reviews, performance diagnostics, target tracking, and insight generation.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills and experience influencing senior collaborators across Finance, Marketing, Product, GTM, and Sales.
  • Solid foundation in analytics and data science methods, including experimentation, forecasting, segmentation, and predictive modeling.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python or R, along with experience using visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Excellent communication skills, executive presence, and the ability to translate complex analysis into clear business recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field required; advanced degree preferred, such as Master's in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field. MBA is a plus.
