About the Role

As a Partner in Wellbeing, the Grant and Finance Project Specialist has a desire to thrive in an environment of creating relationships with goals of solving problems and helping to contribute to the future growth of Alluma. Prepares and monitors grant budgets and expenditures. Coordinates with grant administrators to ensure efficient and effective management of outside funding. Ensures compliance with company internal controls and government regulations. Plans, directs, and coordinates financial projects that drive efficiency and sustainability for Alluma by organizing and guiding team members to deliver timely and quality outcomes.

Grant Management (65%)

  • Management of a pipeline of current and prospective grant funds that align with the mission of Alluma.
  • Partners with Alluma’s Special Project Manager in the grant application process with establishing the financial budgets.
  • Responsible for producing modifications on grant amendments due to changes in business requirements.
  • Establish a sustainable process for financial grant management of over 30 funding streams, including County, State, and Federal funds.
  • Collaborate and establish relationships with grant administrators to ensure proper use, timing, and accounting of grant awards.
  • Develop and distribute financial reporting for grant administrators.
  • Complete and submit, in a timely manner, reporting according to grant requirements using multiple reporting platforms.
  • Accurately and timely prepare billings to grantors.
  • Manage compliance standards per government regulations.
  • Analyze process, provide enhancements to grant programs, and manage processes according to policies and procedures.
  • Track and monitor annual revenue goals for grants to provide financial updates and recommendations for annual budget development.

Required Education, Certification, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
  • 7+ years of finance/accounting experience preferred.
  • Healthcare experience beneficial.
  • Must pass a criminal background check through the MN DHS NetStudy.
  • Access to personal vehicle and the ability and willingness to use the vehicle in carrying out position responsibilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable under the agency’s automobile insurance policy.
  • Free from substance use problems for a period of no less than 2 years.
