Accounting & Finance Intern (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: South Bend, IN (100% Onsite)
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule:

  • August–December: Approximately 20 hours/week
  • January–April (Tax Season): Approximately 30 hours/week with occasional evening hours
  • Flexible class-friendly schedule available during the fall semester

Responsibilities Throughout the Year
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Prepare customer invoices and process weekly payments.
  • Reconcile expense reports and corporate credit card transactions.
  • Scan and organize financial documentation.
  • Assist with mail, document processing, and general office support.
  • Answer phones and greet visitors as needed.
  • Learn internal accounting processes and support various administrative projects.
During Tax Season
  • Organize and process tax documentation.
  • Upload, file, and distribute tax documents electronically.
  • Coordinate completed tax documents with outside CPA firms.
  • Assist with preparing tax forms and supporting documentation.
