Job description

LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker+Lynch) is working with a growing small business-focused accounting firm on the northside of Indianapolis looking for an Accounting/Tax Manager. This role will report to a Director, will support a defined book of clients, and be over as well as a part of a high performing collaborative team of accounting professionals. This position is open due to continued growth and offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure across both accounting and tax in a more balanced public accounting environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of small business clients
  • Review tax returns and financial reporting deliverables
  • Mentor and support accounting staff
  • Serve as the primary client contact for accounting and tax matters
  • Monitor deadlines and client workflow
  • Lead onboarding of new clients
  • Provide guidance on bookkeeping and accounting issues
  • Support process improvements and team initiatives
Qualifications:
  • CPA or EA certification required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Public accounting, tax, or small business accounting experience required
  • Supervision experience required
  • QuickBooks Online experience preferred
