About The Role:

The LTL Accounting Associate plays an important role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of our Carrier and Customer invoices for LTL shipments. This process is integral to our success as it enables us to pay our carriers and bill our customers promptly as well as promote knowledge of LTL shipments.

Responsibilities:

  • Process carrier invoices and paperwork for payment.
  • Note discrepancies on carrier invoices and review against quote to determine origin of difference.
  • Generate discrepancy reports for customers after researching.
  • Respond to carrier and customer invoice questions in a friendly and courteous manner via phone or email.
  • Review and submit customer charges on various Transportation Management Systems.
  • Work hand in hand with the LTL department to resolve billing issues.

Qualifications:

  • High school degree or GED.
  • Associate degree in business or accounting/finance is preferred.
  • 2+ years of A/P or billing experience; experience in a logistics or third-party organization is a bonus.

  • Ability to multitask.
  • Strong sense of urgency to complete tasks to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
