Job description

Are you ready?
As an Account Manager, you will be the point person on key accounts. We will count on you to service these key accounts and solicit new business to maximize profitability. You will position Graybar as the primary supplier of electrical, communications, and security products and solutions.
In this role you will:
  • Implement strategy to increase sales and profits from key accounts
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity
  • Understand customer business needs and work closely with our supplier partners to help find solutions to meet those needs
  • Give presentations on new products, answer questions on products and Company services
  • Attain or exceed sales and profit budget

What you bring to the table:
  • 4+ years experience preferred
  • 4 year degree preferred
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP)

Pay Details:
The expected salary for this position is $100,000 annually depending on experience. This position is also bonus eligible based on specific and relevant business metrics.
This role requires the use of your personal vehicle for business purposes. Graybar offers a Fixed and Variable Rate (FAVR) reimbursement program to support eligible drivers. This program allows you to choose and drive your own vehicle, rather than a company-assigned car, and your reimbursements can help you build equity in your vehicle over time. Please note that certain vehicle requirements, such as age and original MSRP, may impact your eligibility for tax-free reimbursement. More information about Graybar's FAVR reimbursement program will be shared upon hire.
