Position Summary:

The Manager, Business Development (Americas) drives growth for Forza’s custom and specialty sensor portfolio. Responsibilities include identifying new opportunities, expanding strategic accounts, shaping long‑cycle custom sensor programs, and representing Forza to engineering and executive‑level customers. U.S. citizenship or permanent residence is required for ITAR‑restricted work.

The Manager, Business Development, will have four primary goals:

  • New Business Growth: Refine and execute growth strategies to establish and grow Forza’s standard product business.
  • Channel Development: Develop the necessary channels to market and support the new standard product business growth.
  • Future Innovation: Leverage customer and market insights to create business cases for new product development.
  • Generating New Business: Identify new leads, connect with potential customers, and drive new qualified leads into Forza’s existing custom & semi-custom design services.

Position Requirements:

  • Technicalbachelor’s degree (EE or Physics) combined with strong business acumen.
  • 10-15 years of progressive experience in business development, marketing, and/or sales leadership
  • Understanding in the areas of CMOS technology, digital and analog design, test electronics, and camera electronics.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision‑making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
  • Enjoy traveling globally, to wherebusiness opportunities arise.
  • Ability to prepare and effectively present a business plan.
  • Ability to apply qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret data.
  • Demonstrated ability to express and embrace an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to present findings and recommendations succinctly and accurately through oral and written communications
  • Highly motivated with strong organization and time management skills to operate under minimal direct supervision.
  • Have a relevant network in the image sensor industry and/or in any of our target markets (medical, entertainment, government, machine vision, life‑science)
  • Good English oral and written communication skills are required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • U.S. citizen (ITAR).
  • Technical degree and 3+ years BD or technical sales in semiconductors, imaging, photonics, or related fields.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑development skills including demonstrated ability to develop long‑term, trust‑based relationships with customers
  • Ability to travel 30%-50%.
