Summary
The Senior Manager - Business Development position will lead the end-to-end planning strategy across finished vehicle logistics for non-Captive OEM customers. This role will be directing & overseeing all sales & marketing operations, building business relationships to meet department sales and operation goals, meeting annual targets, understanding market trends & directing Finished Vehicle Logistics operations to adapt to industry. The ideal candidate combines strong business development expertise with deep knowledge of the automotive, mobility, EV, or transportation industry.
Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and lead the company's vehicle business development strategy aligned with organizational growth objectives
    • Identify new revenue streams, market expansion opportunities, and strategic partnerships across automotive and mobility sectors
    • Identify emerging market opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends to drive sustainable growth
    • Lead strategic planning initiatives aligned with company objectives and long-term expansion goals
    • Define commercial priorities, market positioning, and growth roadmaps across multiple business verticals
    • Support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic alliance opportunities where applicable
  • Leadership & Team Development
    • Lead day-to-day operations, drive departmental growth, develop talent, drive team performance, execute strategic goals, and oversee daily operations
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to define priorities, set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and develop strategies for business growth
    • Manage departmental budgets, optimize resource allocation, and ensure compliance with company
    • Lead contract negotiations, commercial agreements, and pricing discussions
    • Build, lead, and mentor high-performing Sales teams
    • Coach teams on negotiation, strategic selling, account management, and partnership development
  • Financial & Operational Management
    • Develop annual business plans, revenue forecasts, and departmental budgets

Compensation Range
$118,000 - $134,000 Per Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
