Five Nines is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to drive growth within an assigned portfolio of existing clients across key industries in the United States, including banking and healthcare organizations. In this role, you will own and grow a book of business by developing strategic account plans, uncovering expansion opportunities, and leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales motions from discovery through close. Requirements:

What You Will Do:

Partner Portfolio Ownership and Growth

  • Own a portfolio of assigned partners, primarily within regulated industries such as banking and healthcare.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive retention, renewals, and expansion across your portfolio of partners

Revenue and Expansion Leadership

  • Consistently meet or exceed annual revenue and retention goals through proactive identification of expansion opportunities.
  • Build and manage a qualified pipeline of upsell and cross-sell initiatives aligned to partner business objectives.

Strategic Account Leadership

  • Serve as the senior, executive-facing point of contact for assigned partners, engaging C-level leaders and key stakeholders.

Complex Opportunity and Deal Management

  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder expansion opportunities, including solution alignment, pricing strategy, negotiation, and close.

Risk Management and Client Advocacy

  • Proactively identify client risks, service gaps, and growth opportunities before escalation.

Forecasting and Account Health Management

  • Maintain accurate forecasting, account plans, and opportunity tracking within HubSpot CRM and ConnectWise Manage.

Internal Leadership and Mentorship

  • Mentor and support junior Account Managers, modeling best practices in client advocacy, account strategy, and executive communication.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of business-to-business account management, sales, or client relationship roles within managed services, IT services or technology environment, with a proven track record.
  • Proven success growing and retaining existing client portfolios, including renewals, upsell, and cross-sell within complex accounts.
  • Experience working with regulated industries, particularly banking and healthcare, with a strong understanding of compliance-driven environments.
  • Strong preference for candidates with managed services or MSP sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead executive-level relationships, including C-suite and senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to translate technical solutions into clear business value and outcomes.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue, retention, and expansion targets.
  • Technical fluency with IT infrastructure and Microsoft technologies and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and executive communication skills.
  • Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation—especially in executive and board-level settings.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot CRM or similar tools.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years of business-to-business account management, sales, or client relationship roles within managed services, IT services or technology environment, with a proven track record.
  • Experience managing enterprise or strategic accounts with complex service scopes and long-term contractual relationships.
  • Experience with banking and healthcare processes.
